- Adam’s Apple: CNN Money reports that Apple is now the most desired brand in the world. If nothing else, it has to be considered as the best complement Steve Jobs may ever get.
- CES 2011: Guardian has a good roundup on the CES 2011 which took place in Las Vegas between 6-9 January. Most vendors have gone “tablet computer” crazy, Android is benefiting from all vendors as it keeps growing at staggering pace and the 3D TVs also re-appear on the big stage.
- Internet beats TV for news: Mashable reports that more and more young people turn to Internet rather than the TV for news. Quite an interesting but not totally surprising.
- See who is sending the SPAM: Ever wondered as to which country the SPAM emails originates from? Sophos ranks the top 12 countries.
- Activity on the Internet in 2010: These numbers, reported by the Internet monitoring blog Royal Pingdom, shows the scale of the activity that goes on, on the Internet. The most significant number of all is the number of Internet users worldwide which is now over a quarter of the total population of the world.
- Wikileaks Saga goes on: BBC reported that, in keeping with its reputation, now Wikileaks was given data about the famous Swiss bank accounts.
- Steve Jobs is on medical leave: If a CEO’s health has direct impact on the company’s share prices, it can only be Steve Jobs. He has taken medical leave since 17th January with no return date. We all wish him well. Get well soon Steve!
- Twitter keeps growing: The micro blogging site continues its steady but remarkable growth.
